Office conversion to
student accommodation
High Wycombe
This project consisted of the transformation of a four storey office building and three storey back extension into student accommodation, adding one more floor on the back extension. Construction drawings and environmental considerations including maximizing the use of
day-light, harvesting and re-using the rain water and the regeneration of the back of the building, used by homeless people and addicts, were the highlights on my first big scale project.

Adding one more storey to an existing building
Chelsea
This project consisted of adding one more storey to an existing odd looking building, if compared to its context, of three storeys and a tiny loft space, with oversized parapet walls on both sides. This project required full historical research of the building and the area, due to its peculiar construction, surrounded by the Brompton Hospital buildings overshadowing the site. The deduction was that the original building was bombed or burned down during the Second World War, and the lack of resources at the time gave the reconstruction of the building its atypical presence.
